It is an Alpine mechanism, but it comes from an old, discontinued model.
Plus, there's been some re-arrangement of the circuitry, making it a
proprietary system.

See Jet's A4 page/FAQ for info on mail ordering the CD changer and
installing it yourself.  $525 or so from Claris...
