Re: Air bags, safty, SUVs and today's NY Times - low Audi content



I went the other way after watching a 4runner destroy itself (rolling down the interstate) and kill the driver (the passenger and the deer lived ) 
after swerving to avoid a deer when I was coming home from work early one morning.  I'd heard about and seen the footage of Consumer Reports articles 
stating that SUV's have a tendency to tip.  I hadn't given the reports a whole lot of credence after the shit Audi took over the 5k, but the 4runner 
wasn't speeding and was on an exceptionally smooth (read newly sealed) part of the interstate so I know it didn't hit a heave in the road causing it to 
flip.  It's CG was just too high.  I'd rather take my chances in an Audi.  You can't worry about all the possibilities.
