Doug -

Have you considered tearing those things open to replace the $0.75 bulb?
I've done the seat heater switches, window switches, mirror control pad,
and OEM radio illumination. I have become cocky -- every time I get into
the car, I verbally _dare_ the diff. lock to blow a bulb! They are all pretty
easy if you're patient. It's even kind of _fun_ for a sick bastard like me.
Don't worry about the soldering. I'm an oaf with the iron, but still got the
job done.

Complete instructions are available on the handy-dandy NA 20V web
pages, for those interested:

Go to "Problems & Diagnostics" then "Accessory Lights."
