Re:Recently Assimilated
Reed,
We acquired our '93 100 CSQW last summer with 26K miles on it. My one big
excitement was this spring during the 45K checkup, where the dealer
discovered 3 leaky seals which were repaired to the tune of $2200 (included
replacement of the timing belt). Good thing for the warrantee.
The rear window washer (if it's the same as the '93) is turned on/off by
pushing the window wash stalk forward towards the dash.
My gamma radio also exhibits poor reception in town (Mpls. Area), however
remote area reception is fine.
So far the auto tranny has performed flawlessly, although it took a little
while to get used to the cars general sluggish-ness.
Other unusual characteristics involve a gas tank, pressure related,
fog-horn-like, humming which occurs after driving (particularly on warm
days). Some have suggested the gas formulations here in MN. There have also
been a few occurrences of the ABS seeming to activate on occasions when you
wouldn't expect it, such as coming to a stop at a modest rate on dry
pavement. Suggestions here are dirty ABS sensors.
