Wow, sorry to hear you had such a bad experience. So far, mine work great.
The squeel is the only annoyance I have with em. I have had no problem with
mine and have mine on about 4 months. They are still in pretty good shape
and probably will last awhile yet. I have had no problem with street use
either and I think they work great. Although, wasn't your 5K a single piston
caliper? That might lead to more problems IMHO with the pads. I have
the dual piston setup on my 93 90. works Great for except the squeel sometimes
BTW-what material are those pads you ordered made from? Do they have
any fade and serious brake dust?
