1997 Miracle Ride - sponsors needed!

For those of you who were not here last year, a little history.
I participated in a charity effort called the Miracle Ride, sponsored
in part by BMW of North America, benefiting the Crohn's and Colitis 
Foundation of America.  The ride is not a competition, simply that,
a ride, where hundreds of motorcycles followed a set path and
brought with them donations.

Despite the pouring rain that plagued the event last year,
we were able to raise almost $42,000 for this cause.

This year, the organizers have promised better weather (yeah right)
and I will once again be riding.  The list of corporate sponsors
has also grown, including WABC-TV (no, a guest spot on "Ellen"
is not one of the door prizes).

If you would like to sponsor me by making a donation, you can
do so by emailing me with the amount of your choice, and then
sending me a check by October 10 (the ride is Oct. 12) made
out to "CCFA".

- no, it's not a race

- yes, you can join if you'd like to - see me for details

- there is no minimum amount you can contribute

- donations are mostly likely tax-deductible, but see your
  accountant (that's why you pay him right?)
