RE: Radio removal on a 84 4000sQ
There is a tool for removing the radio but I have used 4 small
screwdrivers inserted into the holes to remove the radio. I know that
Crutchfield sells the tool for 3.00 but I think you could use something
like a wire coathanger to do it as well. There are little retainer
prongs in the sides of the radio that depress when you place the tool
into the holes (you need something in all four holes at the same time).
The radio will then pull out the front.
