90Q rear tire rod end

Could anyone be able to give my some advice re left rear tire rod end on
my 88 90Q? It is  worn out, so a local shop refused to perform an
alignment on the car due to worn parts. Right side end is still OK. Dealer
price is not too attractive, so does anyone know some after market source?
I found a 90Q at a local junkyard, but they refused to sell used rear tire
rod ends to me because of the safety reasons.  Are these rear tire rod
ends the same for all Quattros? I have seen a 200QW at another junkyard,
but I doubt that its  rear ends would fit my car. If large Q Audis have
different suspension than mine, would a 4000Q rear end parts be of any
help?
