80/90 headlights, what do you think?

Hey all I hear of these crazy prices for the euro headlight set up,
while at my local Pep Boys, I saw that the standard buld is a 45/65w set
up.  Osram makes the same bulb for the A4 in a 55/65w set up a #9007, I
drove a A4 and the low beam was fine.  So I checked out the
configuration of the lamp , is very simular, Im not a headlamp designer
( but I know someone who is)  I am going to try the higher wattage
bulb.  has anyone tried this.  Can any of our friends in euro get higher
wattage bulbs,  I had some burners on a 2002 which would burn a hole in
a deers eye........These higher watt bulbs must available
somewhere.......
