I have a 90 100 auto and I can outshift it in my old 85 4ksq stick.
Granted, 4th to 5th is a long throw, but I can still manage. 

Also, what is an easy test to see if this button is functional?  I have
tried just pushing on it at normal speed with and without A/C on and
nothing hpned.

AND, one more quick question, please don't flame if it was posted
already, are Splitfires worth the cost in the regular 10v engine? I am
on the eternal lookout for more power from the basic 5cyl. Futile, but
forever searching....
