I have never been in a 90 with an auto, but it sounds like the shifts 
arent very quick at all.  I have found in my 85 4kQ that the 2nd to 3rd 
shift is immensely quick in a performance situation...i had it shift once 
so fast that i didnt even know that it was done.  My friend just said 
"How in the hell did you shift that fast"  All i said in reply was " I 
have no idea"

Hehe, good synchro match and gear match from 2nd to 3rd i suppose.
