AAARGH!!! What's up with this fu- - fuse?!?
<teeth clenched, breathing heavily> I'm at home today. Couldn't make
it to work, because my nice Saturn took a shit. So, I try to see why my
Audi Coupe GT is _still_ having problems.
Remember that fuse? The one that goes to the computer? It popped
somehow when I hit a bump, and the car was lopin' after that?
Anyway, I replaced the fuse, and it started and ran fine. Took it out
and raced around town with my friend in his Corrado SLC (talk about
piston-envy). I revved high and shifted hard, then my car started
idling rough again! What the ffff- <grrrrr!>!?!
Today I tried to start it, it wouldn't start. I checked that fuse, and
it's not popped, but it's melted! The part that "breaks" when it "pops"
was melted like it was moving some serious current. When I put in a
new, unmelted fuse, it starts right up.
So, what would make this little object of my affection do this? Bad
ground? Where? <teeth clenched, jaw muscles flexing> Can I just
hardwire the mother-f'er, and watch the f'ing thing go up in
flames!!!!!!! <yeah! fire! fire! cool!>
I'm really frustrated today. 3 cars with problems! Well, to be fair, 2
cars with problems, and another that never promised to be more than a
big project car, so I don't hold it against it.
Help!!
Thanks,
Ken (by the way, if there is anyone that knows anything about Saturns or
GM cars, please email me, I'm in even more need with that P.O.S., 'cause
I'll take it out to the desert with my SKS before I make payments on
something that refuses to take my ass to work, to get paid, to make
payments on it, to go to work, to get...)
