C-GT computer fuse
I went to my "mechanic" (very good local shop, the service manager of
which I luckily wa buddies in high school with ;-) ), and it was
obvious to him, and me too (now), that when my engine moves a certain
way, like hitting a metal plate or shifting desperately to keep up with
a VR6, that some wire somewhere is getting shorted and is causing the
computer fuse to blow.
It seems the "melted" fuse was probably _about_ to blow, but the short
stopped before it the metal filament dripped completedly open.
So, unless anyone knows a specific wire to check, I'll:
1. keep spare fuses handy
2. not shift hard
3. wiggle different wires when the engine is running, and see if one
shorts out the circuit and pops the fuse
Any other advice?
