5000 radiator cooling fan

I think I finally have my e-mail working again.  Now to fix a few 
things on the car.  Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the 
bearings in the cooling fan motor, and not replace the whole motor?  I 
remember the dealer telling me several years ago when my Mom's 5000 
started squeeling, that they were able to replace the bearings, and 
that they were available from Audi.  I tried to call Linda, but she is 
on vacation, and the guy who picked up the phone knew nothing of a 
bearing kit available.

It's starting yo sound worse, and I don't want to see smoke from the 
parking lot after I get into my office in the moring!
