starter problem solved

I tried to install my starter. thanks to all of those who replied to my 
request as to the location, but when i eventully found it, it was hidden 
between the trans. and the exhaust manifold. I could see the terminals if 
i pointed a flashlight in the direction of it. I called the local dealer 
to inquire about the cost of labor and was quoted $195. I called a local 
foreign only shop and was quoted $45!! for labor. that is the last time I 
ever call the dealer for anything!!!

I am in need of some new headlights as mine are kinda pitted and 
hazed. Are there any glass resurfacing products out there or do I need 
to just get new ones? also, I have noticed that the older jetta's and 
golfs have similar headlights, could these be subtituted?
