I'm sure no one answered because off hand, no one knew... silence is better
than 650 people replying "Sorry, have no idea" <smile>.

The part that wore out is either the plastic ball on the center of the
shifter lever (the one you as the driver move) or the link between the
bottom of the shifter and the lever on the transaxle itself.  Both are
hardened plastic.
