SpeedLimits (min.Audi)

Anyone catch the *expose* on speed limit increases at the beginning of
the week, I belive on Dateline? (Sorry, vague as sin).
Two absolutely classic phrases came from the program.
Preface... show was explaining how faster speed limits are killing
more folk, ad infinitum.  In order to prove (disprove) their point
they ventured out to Montana, home of the Prudent and Safe Speed
Limit and, of course, Deutschland for the Autobahn.
(1)  Montana: Camera inside patrol car shows officer approach 5000tq
sedan.  Officer inside vehicle states to reporters that *95mph down
that hill may be beyond the ^limit^*.  When approached, driver of the
vehicle calmly states...I feel very comfortable at that speed..
;-)...no picture of ticket being given...  Nevada plates, silver
maroon color...lister?
(2) Old Country:  Scenes of Franz in his Porsche (carbon dash=Turbo?)
driving rather briskly through the rain.  When asked about the high
speeds and whether or not Germany will ever change....Franz replies
that so many people own Porsches and drive them comfortably at speed
that he doesn't see a change...auf deutsch....u.s. reporter
translation...*so many people drive fast cars*....just struck me as
funny the emitting of Porsche.
