One more note to add to Bruce and Steve's info.  I have replaced the
u-joint and center carrier bearing in my '88 90Q and what I've gathered
from the Bentley, the Coupe driveshaft is the same unless you have an
airbag and then the front portion is made out of carbon-fiber!  Anyhow, if
the Bentley isn't lying the BMW part should work on the Coupe Q and 90Q20
series as well as the 10valve 80/90Q.
