Re: A/C programmer motor assembly



Perhaps I didn't do a very good job of explaining what I did.  It is true
that the motor itself is essentially self-adjusting.  However, if you
remove the plastic external arm from the shaft that goes to the pot
underneath the assembly, it must be positioned properly when putting it
back on.  This is where I need advice.  The motor and the shaft it drives
are ok, it's just the plastic arm on the top of the shaft, outside the box,
that isn't positioned right, and I see no obvious way of determining the
correct position.  I don't know the proper range of motion for the arm, but
I know it is not correct at the moment.

What position, for example, is the arm in when the system is turned to the
"Off" position?  Parallel to the box, facing towards the driver's side?
Perpendicular to the box?  Some angle inbetween?  This is what I need.
