Have you had any luck?  I am experiencing the same problem on my 90q and

when I plug the fuse in the relay I just get 4444. (Thanks to a very
helpful Q list member I got all the codes) I have not yet tried it after
a
long drive, but I drove the car and the light came on 2-3 times, then I
pulled over and did not turn the car off, still 4444, 4444, 4444, 4444
etc.

Let me know if you learn any tricks?

Well here in Japan four fours (4444) means your gonna die. "Shi" means
the number four and the word death, and four of them together......ie:
die die die die....die die die die..

That engine code would scare the sh*t out of a Japanese :^)
