Bart,
if your V8 uses the same wheel/tire size as my 200TQ, then the correct size
would be 205/60/15. Either 215/60 or 225/60 would give you a larger wheel,
hence a slower start and a higher than your speedo shows it actual speed.
I've got an idea. Right now I have two sets of 16" MOMO wheels, laying in my
garage, each shod with a set of Dunlop Sport SP8000.
One wears 205/55/16 and belongs to the 200, the other one has 225/50/16 and
will go on the A4 in the spring. Both are the correct size for our cars, give
or take several mm on dia.
If you wish I can toss one of each (along with the 325mm sport steering wheel
for Jim) in the trunk before I go see you guys in DC on the 1st of November. We
can bolt both of them on your car and see if they look good/clear the fenders
etc. I am hoping to talk you into putting the 16" on your V8 beauty.
Let me know if you wanna do this.
