4kq struts = ur-q struts? Without meaning to be disputatious, my
external (easy adjust) front Konis and internal (SOB adjust) rear Konis
change in both directions. Given that it takes 2.5 hours to change the
rears, I was _very_ careful to learn their MO before putting them in.
After I pulled them once again for adjustment, I was damn certain how
they work. Having just two weeks ago putting in the fronts, but not
having played with them, I went to experiment. (Imagine 250 lb guy
standing inside engine compartment 3 hours after sunset, parking (city)
lights on, bouncing like a fool, twiddle the nob, bounce, twiddle, etc
in the driveway of my rental) The damping, AFAI could tell, changed in
both directions. Note: the fronts (external) don't offer as much
adjustment range as the rears (internal). Is this a function of the
front/rear or the external/internal difference? Guesses? Truths?
Todd, did you install the rears, or can you easily verify the duality of
damping direction? (?)
Can't help on the springs as mine are Audi stock (HS rules :-(
