Please accept my apologies, I mis-judged your intent with
the previous post about the new E.F. turbo etc. setup. I
guess when I saw the line "Although I am not at liberty to
discuss the full specifics of the car", the hissy fit meter
got pegged. Actually having a hissy fit can be fun.....but
I digress.
I NOW understand why you did not give any details on the
new turbo/ECU setup etc. but when I first read your post,
I misread it as marketing hype, and being interested in
some basic details I did not understand the motive behind
your post. It would have been nice to see something vague
like:
The new turbo is a K2_ hybrid with a smaller hot side,
larger cold side etc, (fill in the blanks) the Mac 11 ECU
has a new 2.5 bar pressure sensor and new code in the EPROM
to allow monitoring and accurately controlling boost above
2.0 where the stock boost sensor craps out. The new larger
intercooler reduces inlet temperature by 50 degrees even at
2.5 bar boost levels etc. The add on fuel enrichment device
which is controlled by boost pressure which ensures
adequate fuel is being delivered at full boost and high
RPM. (Note: all of the above is made up by me)
I realize that E.F. may have been the only one to provide
this basic info, so again. Please accept my apologies.
