I guess, the alignment rules could be summed up as follows, and it does not
contradicts any of the comments seen on the list:
- If work was done on the suspension that could cause major misalignment (like
lower balljoint replacement on a 4k), then do an alignment after the work was
done, to prevent ruining your tires.
- Follow up in every case (even when the work did not cause misalignment) with
an alignment after a while (1 - 2 KKm) when everything settled down.
