The strut bearing in the front strut assembly is worn out. Also check if the
lower ball-joints are o.k., looseness at the top could mask looseness at the
bottom. If you already have the struts apart, you might as well think about
replacing the shock cartridges to save on labour. Also have your front wheel
alignment checked/adjusted (camber and toe-in) at the end.
