Had a similar problem, which became a major water problem under the
front carpet courtesy of Hurricane Fran in 9/96, at about 150K with my
'92 100CSQW.  Solved, thanks to a tip from a q-lister, by locating a
drain under the back of the instrument panel that was blocked off with
leaves and twigs.  Good luck.
