How many miles?  This happened on my wife's '85 5000CS at 80,000 miles.
I believe this is around the typical life for a plastic radiator.

I replaced the radiator in my '87 5000CS TQ prior to the 80k mile
failure.  Another pre-emptive strike that has saved me hundreds of $$$.
Anyone else experience the 80k mile radiator phenomonon?
