Eric,
Your right. We don't know what has been done to your car. However, some of
us would like to know. I am amazed at how secretive you are acting about
the entire thing. You act as if you have the formula to the fastest car in
the world and are afraid to tell anyone because of the fear that someone
will improve on it and knock you off your pedestal. However, in reality
all you have is a fast AUDI. Hundreds, more like thousands, of modified
Buick GN's, mustangs, and camaro's will blow your car off the road, in a
straight line that is, I don't care what you have done.
Admittingly, a lot of these people with faster cars then yours have much
less technical know-how. They built their cars by just picking up catalogs
and bolting aftermarket crap together. We don't have this option since our
cars aren't supported much in the aftermarket. We have to look to other
Audi fanatics to get the info we need to raise our cars performance
potential. Living in a small rural Alabama town, I rely on this
list almost exclusively for my information. However, when the people who
have had success keep there lips sealed, we are left to go through the
same trial and error, wasting our hard-earned money to repeat mistakes
that have already been made.
If you or others who have had success insist on keeping your mods secret,
that's fine. Just remember that you maybe holding back the progress of
devoloping the ultimate powerplant for our cars and are certainly denying
some people of the joy of owning an Audi with the power potential of
yours. Think about it.....

BTW, when I finish my engine project I plan on sending full details
along with actual Vericom performance data to the list. I will also
eventually set up a Web page with this data and pictures. Hmmmmm, a page
strictly designated for performance info on our cars would be kind of
interesting.
