Timing belt tools
Does anyone on the west coast, or better, Norcal, have the tools, 2079
and 2084, used to replace the timing belt on 5000's? I'd really like to
borrow or rent the correct tools, rather than improvise and waste time,
and risk having a problem half way through the job. I need to do this
soon, as I looked at my timing belt while waiting for oil to drain last
weekend, and it looks bad. The european repair place(bosch authorized)
near my office wants $240 + parts for the job. I've done many VW/Audi 4
cyl. belts before, so the 5 cyl can't be that bad, esp. since it doesn't
have an intermediate shaft, so getting everything timed right can't be
as hard!
