Hard Hot Start

     I own a 86 5000CS Turbo Quattro, The car runs fine, Idles fine, Cold 
     starts fine, Except for when it is up to operating temperature. It 
     acts like it is flooded and I have to hold my foot all the way to the 
     floor, it starts out around 1200 rpm (foot still on floor) for about 
     10 seconds before all 5 Cyl Kick in.  I own the manuals and the 
     troubleshooting guide is pretty poor. Its only for when you have 
     already identified the problem and need to replace parts.
