I just mix a little bit of dishwashing detergent in some water in a
spray
bottle, and (after removing the film itself) spray as I scrape with the
razor.
It should come off as a gummy residue.
Yes, to put on tint, you use very slightly soapy water. It helps with
moving
it around before you squeegee the solution and bubbles out from under
the tint.
