You also might want to check the mounts that hold the side molding of the
bumper to the car.  These actually penetrate into the trunk, and I found
water leaking into my Coupe trunk from one of the studs.  You can check
them from inside the trunk by peeling away the foam (or carpet) liner
on the sides.
