Dave,

Not wanting to hand turn a drill in cramped quarters for 4 hours, I made a
U-shaped bracket to fit over the steel bracket, tapped the holes in the
bracket for 10-32 screws, slid the bracket on and attached the U-shaped
bracket over the rear of the plastic struts and tightened the screws.
Worked like a charm.
