Oil Filter Chat.....

Been here, said this before...if you want a really good oil
filter, one with a bypass valve AND anti-drainback valve in
EVERY filter they make, plus oil filtration to about 4 microns -

Use AMSOIL filters. They cost about $8 per, and they are very,
very good.

Fram is at the very bottom of the pecking order, IMO. They have
adversiting and nothing else. Buy one, take a can opener and take it
apart. It will frighten you to see the single piece of filter
paper/cardboard you've been depending on for oil filtration.

Amsoil is on the web and there are local dealers. If you're worried
about supply, buy three or four and stick them on the garage shelf.
