There is not a dealer in Wichita although there was believe it or not when I
moved here 2 1/2 years ago.  That dealership unfortunately went out of
business in part because there was not a large following here plus the
customer service was terrible.

There is a Volkswagon dealership here (Prestige) which has been very helpful
when I needed to order dealer items.  No matter how trivial the item they
have always been very helpful.  I also use Kirk's Imports for buying items
such as struts and the all elusive Audi oil.

I'm sure there will be a debate about the most knowledgeable and trusting
mechanic, but I prefer Darrell at "Allrite Import" which strictly works only
on Audis, Volkswagons and a couple of other imports.  I have always found his
assessments to be true and honest.  He has been fortright with me on
occassion about what truly should be repaired.

Comments on Wichita?  Well.... I moved here from St. Louis and it will be
nothing compared to what you are used to.  It is not very cosmopolitan and
the population is only 350,000.
