Re:silicone spray on rubber products

Another data point:

I spoke to my dad on the phone last night. He recently became a
distributor for Kyocera laser printer equipment and attended their tech
seminars about repair, etc. For reconditioning and maintaining the pliability
of the rubber stuff in their printers they recommend:

Simple Green

I was a little bit surprised when I heard this, I don't know what Simple
Green is made from, but at the tech seminars the Kyocera field engineers
swear by it.

I've got some old rubber stuff (No! Not bought at that shop I mentioned, get
your minds out of the gutter!) at home that I'm going to try it on.
Any BTDTs?

BTW, if you need a nice laser printer for your business I might know
where you can get one...the distributor is, like, a father to me... :-).

Best Wishes,
Alex
