Re[2]: HOT Start Problem Still UN- Resolved..FD???? 86,5KCST
Brett, I have done another thing... lets say the car does not start..k?
I HOTWIRE (JUMP OUT RELAY) to the fuel pump, the think is running, and
running,,,, for 15 to 20 sec... Why would it not start THEN???? The gauge says
the pressure as at the FD... Its just not making it to the injectors.
In doing this I just dont buy the check valve theory.

Sounds like a typical mechanic! Replace the most expensive things first
and be sure not to properly diagnose the car. Then you can hit the
customer up for more new parts until the actual faulty part is found! Then
tell the customer "Each part I replaced contributed to the problem."

Hold on a second! Have you checked the pressure when hot? You would have
to leave the gage on while it warmed up. Your symptoms point directly to a
check valve. It also is not an expensive part compared to injectors!

Very doubtful that the FD plate is sticking. When the plate is lifted it
allows the fuel plunger thingie to drop, it does not apply pressure.
Therefore, the only way it would stick is if the bearing mechanism stuck
and in such a case it would do so in all conditions.

Again, typical of a check valve.

CHECK VALVE, CHECK VALVE, CHECK VALVE!
(No promise, but _highly_ likely!)
