I have had a 90 elbow replacement fabbed like you describe.
Not currently on the car, but has been installed before. I also
had a similar i/c oulet to throttle body pipe fabbed at a muffler
shop with the outlet port, just like the stock hose. Use a T and 
send some air back to the WG and some to the bypass valve.
