Since we are holding forth on air temp, density, pressure, etc., can I get one question answered?

If you shake up 2 bottles of pepsi and leave one out in the kitchen and put one in the refrig, why does the cap blow off higher on the cold one---when you open both?

Seriously, I am not getting in this debate--at all.  But, this [my only post on the subject] brings out 2 random thoughts from my brain that saw physics too long ago:

1.  Think back to the subject of heating nitrous.

2.  Gas is more soluble at colder temp.
