Cheaper for sure. That was my reasoning 3 years ago. Make sure you 
install an adjustable wastegate from a 5000T/200T Automatic coz TAP chip 
will let you run up to 25psi of boost. Mucho dangerous on a stock car!

On a chipped car syntetic motor oil and high octane fuel become a must.
Ah, and you_will_blow up the Intercooler-to-throttle body hose (accordeon 
or michelin man hose). Be prepared to spend $115 on a blue Si Samco hose.

Other than that I see no problems.
