There have been some questions as to what a Franco sprocket
is and how it works.  If you have ever messed with the centrifugal
advance mechanism in a distributor, it is very much the same idea.
Sprung weights move outward as rpms increase and rotate the
gear on it's pivot.

Hope this helps.

Also, does anyone know of any dyno or track tests done with
any of these gears?  I am very interested in some properly
collected comparison data.
