New only. The old one is likely to be corroded and pitted. The piston might be
cocking and sticking in the bore because of this reason. (regrettably I
learned my lesson on my own rebuilt MC and 2 subsequently broken Al clutch
pedals).
Once at it, replace the pressure hose and the slave cyl as well (~$60 ea).
You will not believe the amount of mud you'll get out of the clutch hydro sys!
Oh, you'll also need a pressure bleeder for the clutch.
I hope you're using good brake fluid. German ATE Super Blue or my favourite
Pentosin DOT-4 being one of the best.
Castrol LMA is the only acceptable domestic fluid in owr cars.
