I may be wrong, but you have one hell of a major job coming up. Basically
if you get your hand up the inside of the car where the clutch pedel is,
you might find it gets covered in hydrolic oil. The seals will of gone on
the "thing I cant remember the name of", but I think its the Clutch Slave
cylinder. 
Its a bastard of a job.
I bought a repair kit for my coupe (its the same thing) for about 3 quid
from a place in Hull. (Heinz Motor Spares or sumat like that). 3 hour job
:-)
