I'll chime in with another comment.

Well, there may be and is a lot of info in there, but there is 
also alot of extra noise and personal attacks, and reposting of
this and that...  And breaking it down some more...  And...

It's hard enough for a Simpleton life myself to follow all the 
techno-talk without the nah-nah-nyah, neener-neener!

There may be some useful stuff in there, but for me it's not worth 
sifting through all that "extra" stuff, just to get the hard facts. 
I don't think it will ever get better, so I just Page Down (can't 
Delete on the Digest).

I don't "expect" it to go away, but it sure makes the List more like 
Usenet.  <sigh>
