RE: Retrieving codes (fwd)

Climate Control systems before 1986 model year (US models) do not have
codes or diagnostic capabilities. 1986 is a split year with early
production vehicles still using the old system and latter production
using the "Digital" Climate Control. The ""Digital" Climate Control has
diagnostic codes accessible through the control head. The "Digital"
Climate Control can be identified by the "Bi-Level" switch and the "Hi",
"Lo" fan speed switches.
