ok, I snipped all the irrelevant info.  When I read the subject, I thought,
"this man needs a coupe!"  For 5 grand, your could buy a mid to late 80's
model and fix *everything* that's worn.  A lot simpler than 1. the
quattros, 2. the trubos, and 3. the big bodies to maintain.  Not too small,
not too slow, and fun to drive.  Most important, I think, in general (like
most Audis), when you're not trying to have fun, the car doesn't intrude
and driving is easy.
