1. The oil pump is on it's last legs.
2. The pipe, that connects the sump to the bottom of the block, is
cracked
and is sucking air along with oil. Hit anything lately with the oil pan?
In any case, what's the weight of oil that you use?
What is the ambient temperature these days in your neck of the woods?
Also, have you checked the hot oil pressure with a professional gauge,
that can be screwed into the block in place of one of the idiot lights?
