Hello,
I just had the KF recall done on my 89 200Q. The dealer I used is a
small VW/Audi place in Escanaba MI. They informed of the "approx 2
hour" time when I called to set up the appointment.
When I showed up they said that it should take 2-3 hours on these KF
recalls as they are replacing the airbag control. I was thru in 3
hours including the mandatory car wash.
The only difference I could tell after the work was that the air bag
light on the dash seems to go out quicker after starting the car.
I checked over the operation of everything before leaving the dealer
and everything worked as before.
This was my first trip to a dealer in 5 years of driving the 200Q, and
I am satisfied with the work done. Also, glad to have it done for
free.

The kid did a good car wash too, even the wheels were clean. :-)
