We received the insurance payout for the burnt-out Coupe GT today.  Although we 
only paid GBP500 for it (and declared the fact) the insurers have decided that 
it will cost us GBP780 to replace it and have sent us a cheque for that amount.

Co-incidentally, the GBP280 is exactly what the policy finally cost us after we 
cashed in the unused portion.
 
Drake Insurance - good guys.  Will use them again.
