re: anti-sway bars for Coupe GT

I don't claim to be a "wise one" (wise guy, maybe) but the reason why
installing a larger front bar on a FWD car will sometimes reduce understeer
instead of increasing it has to do with the suspension geometry and the
camber gain curve of the front suspension. If the outside tire goes
positive under cornering (it rolls over onto the sidewall), you will lose
contact area and hence traction; by limiting the amounto of roll, you keep
the tire flatter against the road and the larger contact area increases
traction, hence less understeer. If you take photos of your Audi 4k/Coupe
cornering at the limit, you will see the outside tire has two or three
degrees of positive camber on it despite having been setup with static
negative camber ... early VWs respond well to larger front bars, too.
Hondas usually work better with smaller front bars. Horses for courses...

Mine came last week ... UR Q :^)
